Suspected stolen power tools recovered – are they yours?

Do you recognise these power tools?

They were recovered from a transit van in the Romsey area on Thursday morning (6 November).

Suspected stolen, we are keen to reunite them with their rightful owners.

The recovered items are;
• STIHL chainsaw
• STIHL leaf blower
• Husqvarna long-reach strimmer

Following the discovery and seizure of the tools, a man and teenage boy were also arrested.

A 15-year-old from Totton was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and obstructing/resisting a constable in the execution of duty.

A 24-year-old from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place, common assault of an emergency worker, theft, using threatening/abusive/insulting words/behaviour to cause harassment/alarm/distress, and criminal damage.

Both have since been released on condition police bail, pending further enquiries.
